james delarme Saw them last night at the Troubadour. So much energy and catchiness.
Josh Steichmann

Josh Steichmann Overflowing with styles and hooks, Perla manages to show the huge range—from the come on rock of In N Out to the country-tinged Lonely Nights, to the heavy and cheeky II to the radio pop anthem of Starlight—and only drops one bum track, where they ride a rhyme scheme into the ground., To have that many hits with that many styles represented isn't easy, and pulling it off in a cohesive way is even harder. But Prism Bitch do, and it slaps. Favorite track: Starlight.

Matt Banash Top of My Game or Around, digging the twang. At first thought to music was serving production but the realized it was other way around. This band rawks! Catch them live, you won't regret it.

How we were so long ago, never come down Lonely on the telephone with a ghost on the other end Say how long it’s been will I see you again, my old friend Do you want to, man I need ya Locked up for these lonely nights with my bitter heart Those words come in and back out again How can we start over again Do we want to, man I need ya Was I wrong my old friend and did I have it wrong back then I could be here for your whole life, would you miss me Was I just a stepping stone on your way up And would you ever look down, remember me Locked up for these lonely nights with my bitter heart Those words come in and back out again How can we start over again, or is that bridge burned down Do we want to, man I need ya Sitting on the train on the bus on the way back home to my old town Waiting for you I’ve got a mind of stone you ain’t gonna talk your way out of this Your smile your smile, I don’t care I lost five good years of my life in there Sitting on the train on the bus on the way back home to my old town Waiting for you I’ve got a mind of stone you ain’t gonna talk your way out of this Your smile your smile, I don’t care I lost five good years of my life in there

Heathers 03:45
I was walking down the road, I was walking in a line Every time I make I right, you find a way to whine I don't wanna be fake with you, or write about it in my diary You're fucking bitchy I hope you think about it, hope you think about me When I'm walking in your sleep Think about it, think about me I'm still walking down the road, I don't really know where I wanna go I'm coming up with yes, and all you say is no (why not) I don't wanna be fake with you, or write about it in my diary I'm fucking bitchy, I'm a bitch I hope you think about it, hope you think about me When I'm walking in your sleep Think about it, think about me I saw you but you didn't say hi to me I saw you and you never say hi to me I hope you think about it, hope you think about me When I'm walking in your sleep Think about it, think about me

Starlight 04:41
I am enough, enough to say it all And if you want me just give me a call I can’t pretend, pretend well at all If you want to I can take you there I can show you how to forget your fears We’re all starlight, we’re all going to die We’re all starlight I’ll hold you down, you down before the sun A broken heart don’t mean that I ain’t won I’ll hold for now, but I know there will be no one like you If you want to I can take you there I can show you how to forget your fears We’re all starlight, we’re all going to die We’re all starlight If you want to I can take you there I can show you how to forget your fears We’re all starlight, we’re all going to die! We’re all starlight It’s hard to be in love, play cool at the same time It’s hard to be alone, feel good at the same time (It’s hard to drink wine when you’re drinking upside down, try drinking at the same time) It’s hard to get over yourself and all your bullshit that you know just how it goes (And it’s hard to speak when you’re speaking under water at the same time) It’s hard every fucking day but you do it anyway, you get up and be (And it’s hard to breathe when you’re breathing under water at the same time) If you want to I can take you there I can show you how to forget your fears We’re all starlight, we’re all going to die! We’re all starlight
